What is forging equipment?
Forging, or “heading,” refers to a process in which products are formed by continuously applying impact force to shape the material.
Forging technology is a process of forming products from raw materials in either cold or hot conditions. Generally, equipment that forms up to the 2D3B format is referred to as HEADER equipment, while equipment that produces more complex shapes beyond this level—such as 3D3B or higher multi-stage transfer systems—is referred to as FORMER equipment. The higher the number of stages, the more complex the product shapes that can be manufactured.
Cold forging (Cold Heading/Forming) is a process in which raw materials at room temperature undergo continuous operations such as cutting, first forming, second forming, up to sixth forming within a single integrated machine. Our company operates a wide range of equipment, from 1 mm 2D3B header machines to 12 mm 6D6B former machines, enabling us to produce products that meet even the most demanding customer specifications.
